"Good morning Mrs-soon-to-be-Stratton" Ethan purred into Lucy's hand, ravishing it with kisses.
Lucy giggled, a happy blush creeping into her cheeks. Today was the day.
"And good morning to you Mr-soon-to-be-Mrs Stratton's-husband" she giggled, fanning her face.
"Are you excited?".
"Of course I'm excited, this is the day I've been waiting for. You have noticed it sitting in my wants panel since college, haven't you?".
"I have, but I thought that maybe its been so long you might have gotten over the excitement by now" Ethan shrugged.
"Bah!. That would never have happened" Lucy said, waving her hand in a dismissive way.
"Good, coz I'm excited to be marrying you today. I wouldn't want to be the only one who is excited".
"Well never fear Mr Stratton, for I am indeed excited to be marrying you today" Lucy stated with a giggle.
"Do you have everything ready?. Your dress?. My tux?" Ethan asked.
"I was just on my way to fetch them from H&M" Lucy replied, her mind suddenly in a whirlwind of wedding thoughts.
"And you have the guest list planned, right?".
"I do" Lucy nodded. "And you've booked the honeymoon, right?".
"I have" Ethan then smiled, they sounded like a married couple already. He couldn't wait to marry Lucy and then whisk her away on a fabulous honeymoon. She was the woman of his dreams, and each day just got better and better.
"I hope everyone comes" Lucy said, "I want tonight to be perfect" she sighed.
"And it will be, because no matter what happens, by the end of this evening you'll be Mrs Stratton" Ethan chirped cheerfully.
Lucy giggled and pulled Ethan into a tight squeeze.
"And, hopefully, by the end of this evening I'll be carrying the next generation of Stratton's" she sighed happily into his collar.
"Not hopefully, you will be. Even if we have to try a million times" he chuckled, pulling away just far enough to look into her eyes. He could see the excited twinkle in her eyes at his words, he knew that the one thing she wanted most in this simworld, was to have a baby. His baby.
"A million times huh?" she laughed gleefully, "I think that even if we hear that lullaby the first time, you'll still insist that it might be false and we need to make sure with another try...and another...and another" she laughed as Ethan began tickling her.
"Well, what did you expect, I'm a guy.....you know what guys are like" he chuckled kissing her neck and then her ear and then her cheek, and finally planting a firm kiss on her lips.
Lucy giggled, playfully pushing him away. "Why don't you do....whatever it is that you have to do" she giggled, swatting Ethan's wandering hands. "And I'll do what I need to do".
"Right" Ethan said gruffly, removing his hands from her butt with much reluctance. "I'll be in the study if you need me.......or in a cold shower" he said as an afterthought as he began walking to the door.
Lucy smiled, she couldn't have been any happier than she was at that moment. But she knew that tonight would outshine her current happiness, for tonight she would be in platinum.
