It was the end of a long work day, but it had been a good work day. Not only had Ellie made a friend in the work place, she had also been promoted to Lab Tech. This, of course, set off an excited feeling within Ellie. Life was turning out to be a wonderful thing here in Sunset Valley, and Ellie no longer missed her old life or her old friends.
Now her only wish was for that special someone. With this thought in mind, Ellie decided to visit one of her favorite places, the library. Who knows what bookworm might come along.
There were always many candidates at the library, many sims always dropping by to read or chat on the computer. But were they all like-minded?. Did they have the type of traits she was possibly looking for in a man?.
Ellie pondered this question as she scanned the room, she even pondered on what to say upon introducing herself to would-be candidates.
"Sorry, excuse me" she heard a gruff voice saying behind her. It took her a moment to click that that voice was intended for her.
"Sorry, you're in my way" the man said, tapping his foot.
Ellie blushed: "Sorry" she mumbled, stepping to the side. "Uhhh, hi. I'm Elanor" she said, extending her hand.
"Pleasure to meet you, Elanor. The names Thornton" he smiled. "Are you new in town, can't say I've seen you around before?".
"Uhh, yeah. I'm still pretty new to the neighborhood."
"Ahhh, I see. Well, welcome to Sunset Valley".
"Thanx" Ellie said, an excited tingle weaving up her spine. For no apparent reason, or none that Ellie could explain anyway, she immediately got an excited moodlet from talking to this stranger.
