Who ever said patches were a good thing?. Stupid EA, how on earth did they get that right!!. And with their own CC too!!. I've been noticing that a lot of my objects just aren't around anymore, guess I'm not going crazy.
But now you see, I thought the whole hood was glitched and I deleted the save....*sigh and slap forehead*. Here's hoping my backup is current.
How was the holiday by the way. I hope you had a jolly good xmas and a champagne filled new year.

In response to your post, I have to ask... did you upgrade to the latest patch? If so, it stops CC from working and Riverview is counted as CC. : So that's why it probably isn't showing up. I haven't updated to this yet and won't until they fix it, LOL

You know, I'll probably take you up on the offer of links, I'm really struggling to find all those sites again.
As for my new projects, GAH!. It seemed like such a simple idea at the time, but when I started to put it together, it turned into a major hassle. So its kinda blowing my new idea out of the water, as I was thinking of doing something simple to save me time......thats not the case it seems.
I'll keep ya posted on how thats going.

What stories do you write?, anything online I could take a look at?. I'm always looking for new reading material. And if you have any suggestion for this story, please feel free to give it. I'm not a writer by nature, this is the first real story I've ever written. The only other stuff ever to come out of this brain has been poetry.....and I can't say it was any good, lol.

As for this story, I have the updates waiting, all that is required is for me to find the time to put it all together. I've been rather busy lately, and also taking a much needed break from my simmies.
But I do miss them, so for you who is sick in bed, I shall try my bestest to do an update tomorrow for you.

Hi Madison, good to hear your doing well.
I won't be moving over to sims 3 just yet, I've decided to wait and see reviews and what everyone thinks of it. Plus I'd like those CC creators to get busy and make some more cool stuff for the game, I'm just not ready to give up on all that I have for sims 2, and move over to a game that has limited options. So I'll wait for more stuff and for maybe an expansion before I'm willing to move over.
So this legacy will still be around for a while :-)

Morne: Sorry it took me so long to make your comment active, but for some reason it didn't send me a notification that I had a comment. Thanx for the support on my pc issues, I just hope it doesn't happen again. This would be the third time I've had to re-install in a while so I'm holding thumbs.
The new story isn't happening right now, don't have the time with xmas approaching. Maybe in the new year, but I'll be continuing my current stories at the moment. I really am trying to get back to Darker Shades.

Hi Pandora, I've also read about the numerous problems with BV, but usually there are!
Blue screening happens when your whole computer crashes due to whatever issues its having. A big blue screen appears and its says something along the lines of: 'your pc has shut down to prevent serious damage that may have occurred'. Or something along those lines.
But my computer has multiple issues, therefore it needs a complete re-install, its not just the sims game that crashing it.
Basically your pc is also crashing from what I gather as my husband tried to explain what dumping physical memory was. It basically amounts to your pc crashing, I guess a pc just starts taking strain from all the use and web browsing and downloading and saving onto your hard drive. You'd be surprised at how much stuff is on your pc that your unaware of.
I can't suggest that you re-install since its a long and involved process (and its not my place to toss around computer advice since I don't know to much about it). But basically its wiping your computer clean and restarting over again and having to re-install everything all over again. Plus the added pain of making backups before hand, maybe you should try doing a disk clean-up or something like that. Not sure how its done but I know there is a program that can tell you whats on your pc, it also cleans up any little corrupt programs and such, quiet a nifty little thing.

Blue screen? Is that the one which says it's dumping physicial memory at the bottom?. Coz I've been getting that even when the sims 2 isn't installed!.

Raven has been here and there in the updates, he's quiet focused on being the Mayor at the moment. But he'll get his moment in an update soon. The other characters seem to be taking the spot light at the moment. Raven is a bit preoccupied with his daughter, career and future Heir.

I must say that DS is really getting very interesting and suspenceful, specially with the clifhanger endings. Do you watch Heroes on 3? If you do, you'll know what I mean.
I find the idea of changeng the Valdins into a soapy quite interesting. Are the caracters going to be changed? (personality wise?).

It is a cool game, I've played with the stunts & effects. It takes forever to shoot a movie later on and the stunts only add on to the time. But its still a great game.
Its so easy to get sucked into it though, gotta watch the time, lol! Hope you enjoy getting back into it.

Guild Wars is also a RPG, but its an online game. No fee's of course, since I think its a ripoff then. Its kinda like WOW, just better graphics I think. Yeah, my husbands played Oblivion. But I only took a look, I'm not really any good at those types of games.

Yeap, you got the right person. My luck seems to be improving, I got my PC back and my sims game is running, unfortunately I can't play any of my other games like oblivion, my PC can't handle it. I need a new graphix card.
I was hooked to the sims since Sims 1, but like your husband, I can't get enough of the shoot'em ups. most notibly Oblivion even though it's a rpg.
I have never played Guild Wars, how is it?

Hi!!
First of all...THANKS for stopping by at the Elite site and i'm sorry i didn't contact you earlier. I'm just extremely busy at the moment working on several projects at the same time. ;)
About the ice skating rink: unfortunately i don't have Seasons but i will try to make a community lot for you together with other Elite Members who have Seasons already. Some more info about what you'd like to have would be really amazing, simply write down your wishes or if you want anything else on that community lot in my section again. :)
Btw, i love your stories! Just wish i had more time to read them.
Anyway have to run now again lol....hope to hear from you soon!

Hi. Thanks for the email. it certianity was a suprise! I'm glad to know that I'm not colour blind and it was something to do with the computer.
Glad you found the scarecrow comment amusing it's Raven's smile that makes me think of a scarecrow though maybe it's his hairstyle as well it similar to the one in wizard of oz.
I wish the season EP would come out soon as well I thought if anywhere America would have it first with it being an American game it has to be with the big yellow school buses you don't get them anywhere else that I know off.
And to answer your last question no I don't have a Sims 2 site I have been considering it but I barely have anything to put on it and I find it annoying when I go on a site that seems interesting and nearly all the pages say "this page is under constuction".
There is another reason why I haven't done one yet is because I haven't found a place where I could make more then one website on the same account (I thinking in case I decide to make a site that isn't sims related as well as a sim site)
if you know of one let me know I'm not saying that I will make a site I just want to know in case I do decide to.
Oh yeah you said something about writing in your own guestbook I think that would be easier for you as it must be hard work to find everyone's email (if they left one) and then repaly to them all one by one. Maybe that's why a lot of the Sims 2 bloggers answer in their guestbook at least the ones I comment at do which was why I was so suprised at your email!.

she says she got all the really cool stuff from you at the end of her story! like reflections in the game, great downloads, cute oufits/hairstyles (I THINK THIS STUFF!!) and other things. i no the website modthesims2.com but like are there any other ones that have COOL stuff like that? PLEASE I BEG OF YOU PLLLLLLLLLLLLLZ TELL ME!

Girl! Why you still got me on pins and needles?! You have really managed to keep me in suspense! Dang, girl! I look forward to your next installment.
I will be posting three by this week. My one and only critique on yours... and I know it may be hard if you do not use word, but just make sure to double check for spelling errors. A coworker who read my story found two mispelled words and I about had a heartattack because that is my pet peeve! So sorry to tell you, but I am trying to save you from the horrors of someone reading it and telling you about it. On a great note, the story is so great, you just overlook the mispelled words~LOL! Hey, if you need an editor let me know. I love proof reading and checking grammer/spelling :-)
